The Milkmaid Folk Arts Centre became a Community Interest Company on 19th July 2007.
It will operate just as a Limited Company would do except that all profits go back into the business and that all assets owned by The Milkmaid will be asset locked. In the event of failure then all assets are transferred to another C.I.C. or groups in the community. They cannot be sold off to pay for any debts.
All we need now is a venue and funding!!!!!
