THE MILKMAID FOLK ARTS CENTRE HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN IT’S GRANT APPLICATION

 

We recently applied for a grant from Awards for All and have been informed that our bid has been successful The money will be used to run a series of music evenings at The Info Bar in Whiting Street, Bury St Edmunds.

 

Awards for All is supported by the National Lottery and this grant will enable us to buy instruments and hire performers to enhance these evenings. Click on the link above or the logo on our home page for more information.

 

The Info Bar  is a meeting place for people with a disability and we hope they will benefit from the singing, dancing , audience participation, social inclusion and great fun that will be the key features of these evenings.

 

We will also be contacting Musicians, Artists, Story Tellers and others to perform and run workshops.

 

The evenings will be held on a Thursday from 7:00 to 9:30 on a monthly basis starting on 17th July 2008
